Mary E. Leonard

Leonard, Mary E. (Higgins) of Quincy formerly of Dorchester passed away peacefully March 7 at Winchester Nursing Center at the age of 102. 

Beloved wife of the late Homer Leonard and predeceased by her brothers – Francis, Edward, Thomas and Joseph Higgins.  Loving mother of Maureen Golden and her husband Frank of Winchester, Jack Leonard and his wife Colleen of Reading and Dorothy Leeman and her husband Bill of Rockland.  Devoted grandmother of Mike Golden, Dan Golden, Bob Leonard, Tracy Leonard, Ken Leonard, Brian Leeman and 8 great grandchildren.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston. Donations in memory of Mary may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society at www.nationalmssociety.
