Mary E. Gallant

Gallant, Mary E. (Redmond) of Weymouth, passed away peacefully December 9, 2014.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph Francis Gallant.  Loving mother of Kenneth Gallant and his wife Joann of Naples, Florida, John Gallant and his wife Mary of Weymouth, Mary Christie and her husband Mark of CA and the late Nancy Lassige and Annette Doherty.  Loving sister of the late John, Kenneth and Margaret Redmond. Dear mother-in-law of Dennis Lassige of Kingston and George Doherty of N.C.  She is the cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mary proudly served her country in the US Army during WWII.  She loved needlepointing and knitting and was a member of the Sacred Heart Church’s Mothers Club.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at Friday at 8:30AM prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 9:30AM. Burial will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth.
