Fadden, Mary E. (Picone) of Quincy formerly of Dorchester, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2013, surrounded by her family, she was 87. The beloved wife of the late Robert M. Fadden. Loving mother of Mary Saltmarsh and her husband William of Norton, Diane Estabrook and her husband William of Woburn and Linda Cedrone and her husband Michael of Carver. Sister of the late Sam and Fred Picone. Mary is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mary enjoyed knitting, crocheting and playing bingo. She had a special place in her heart for her cats. The essence of her life was her family and her faith. She was devoted to both. She will be sadly missed by all those who were blessed to have known her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-7pm in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday morning at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta – St. Margaret’s Church, 800 Columbia Road, Dorchester, MA Thursday at 10am. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
