Mary E. Bragdon

Bragdon, Mary E. of Weymouth, passed away January 16, 2024. Mary was born in Boston to the late Allen and Ruth Bragdon. She grew up in South Boston and attended South Boston Schools. Mary appreciated art and loved to paint. She always kept in touch with her sister and could never resist a great fashion deal. While living at Care-One Weymouth, she kept sentinel at her spot in front of the nurses’ station, often giving them advice.  She enjoyed her weekly manicures, displaying her nails first thing during Zoom sessions with her sister.

Loving sister of Sharon Koons and her husband Stephen J. Koons of Redwood City, CA. Dear Niece of Sharon B. Kranepuhl and her husband Randy Kranepuhl of Rochester, NH and Aunt of Emily Koons, Johanna Koons and her husband Ryan Orman, George W. Bragdon, Robert C. Bragdon, Timothy A. Bragdon and his wife Jamie Loving and Justin E. Bragdon. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews. Sister-in-Law of Nancy E. Bragdon and formerly Barbara J. Bragdon. Predeceased by her brothers George E. Bragdon and Allen R. Avery.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Saturday 10-11 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, Weymouth.
