Donovan, Mary (Callahan) of Quincy (formerly of Chelsea), January 25, 2004. Wife of the late George S. Donovan, Sr. Loving mother of George S. Donovan, Jr. of Quincy, Janet Horita of Vacaville, CA, Dennis Donovan of Sharon and Brian Donovan of Breckenridge, CO. Loving grandmother of Henry, Timothy & Andrew Horita and Samantha & Molly Donovan. Loving great grandmother of Henry, Joshua & Katie. Mrs. Donovan volunteered for the American Red Cross and the Jewish Memorial Hospital in Roxbury for many years during the 1960’s, 1970’s and into the 1980’s. She also transcribed books into braille for the blind. She was an avid reader and a lover of word games. She also loved cooking and will be remembered for her holiday apple pies. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Friday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 9 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 pm. Burial in Saint Mary’s Cemetery – Lynn. Donations in memory of Mrs. Donovan may be made to Catholic Charitable Bureau, 49 Franklin St., Boston, MA 02110.
