Mary D. Bowe

Bowe, Mary D. (Coleman) of Quincy, a longtime Hingham resident, died on December 8, 2014.

A devout Catholic, Mary was a member of  Catholics United for the Faith. She volunteered for Friends of the Unborn. Her family and her faith were the cornerstone of all that was truly important to her.  

The beloved wife of the late John J. Bowe. Loving mother of John J. Bowe, Jr. and his wife Maryanne C. Bowe of Westwood, Carole M. Bowe of Quincy, Paul A. Bowe and his wife Graceanne of Norwood and the late Gerard J. Bowe. Sister of Catherine J. Graham of Quincy and the late Helen Audrey Barnes. Cherished grandmother of Patrick A., Gregory W. and Amanda R. Bowe all of Westwood. Mary is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mary’s family would like to extend their sincere thanks and deep appreciation to the staff at Atria at Marina Place for the care Mary received, which helped her to maintain her independence over the past three years. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
