Mary E. (Glennon) Cote of Brockton, formerly of Hull, died October 31, 2017. The beloved wife of the late Joseph Cote. Devoted mother of Mary Jones and her companion Tim of Buzzards Bay, Joseph Cote and his wife Marjorie of Plymouth, Thomas Cote of Brockton, Kathleen Krause and her husband Paul of Hingham, Teresa Delaney of Brockton, Margaret Devitt and her husband Anthony of Hull, Michelle Mattson of Brockton, Jennette Thornton and her husband Leif of Hull, Jeannine Slocum and her husband Kenneth of Whitman and William Cote of Brockton. Sister of Joseph Glennon of FL and Kathleen Smith of Avon. Mary is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews, she also leaves behind her beloved dog Sandy.
Mary worked for Sigma Instruments in Weymouth, she retired after 20 years of service. She raised her family in Hull, there they created many wonderful memories which they cherish today. Mary was a devoted mother who had little time for hobbies, she did enjoy shopping when she had the opportunity. Her family was the foundation of everything that was truly important to her. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew her.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church – Hull, at 10 AM.
Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 321 Manley St., W. Bridgewater, MA 02379.
