Mary “Christina” Mcgrath

McGrath, Mary “Christina” (Richardson) of Braintree, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, October 22, 2015.

Beloved wife of Louis J. McGrath of Braintree and the late Victor Sherlog. Loving mother of Theresa C. “Terry” Ursino and her husband, Joseph, of Walpole. Grandmother of Mark Ursino and his wife, Jessica of Mansfield.  Sister of Gertrude McGoldrick of Woburn, Evelyn DuPont of Stoughton, Francis Richardson of Somerville, Margaret DiTroia of Arizona, and the late Leo Richardson.  She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Mary loved the beach and especially loved to travel to Florida in the winter. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home Wednesday at 8:00AM  prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Clare’s Church, Braintree at 9:00AM. Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mary’s memory to The Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney Street, Boston, MA 02115 or Hospice of the South Shore, 30 Reservoir Park Drive, Rockland, MA 02370.
