Mary Catherine Mulvey

Mulvey, Mary Catherine (Gaffey) of Quincy, passed away surrounded by her loving family on July 20, 2011. Beloved wife of the late John J. Mulvey. Loving mother of John J. Jr and his wife Peggy, Michael P. and his fiance Debbie Ray, Martin T. and his wife Ellen, Kathleen M. Lester and her husband Thomas, Christine M. O’Brien and her husband William, James A. and his wife Amy, Joseph D. and his wife Ellen, Kevin W. all of Quincy, Ann M. Curran and her husband Joseph, Margaret M. McDonald and her husband Michael, Thomas F. all of Braintree, Mary T. of Weymouth and Patrick J. of Brockton. Also survived by 21 grandchildren. Mary was a member of the Legion of Mary at St. Ann’s Church as well as a C.C.D. teacher for 17 years. The focus of her life was her family and her faith. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother and a faithful parishioner at St. Ann’s Church. She will be sadly missed by all those who have had the pleasure of knowing her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Quincy.
