Taylor, Mary C. (Cashman) of Hingham, formerly of Duxbury and Plymouth, NH, May 6, 2005. Beloved Wife of the late John Samuel Taylor, MD. Loving Mother of Stefan C. Taylor of Tampa, FL, Derek B. Taylor of Chesterland, OH and Sharon T. Evans of Hingham. Devoted Grandmother of Sean, Jennifer and Samuel Taylor and Rachel Evans. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM Monday evening at 7pm . Visitation will be prior to the service on Monday from 3-7 pm Cremation will follow. Burial will be private. Mrs. Taylor was a professor of Art History at Plymouth State College in New Hampshire. She was a well known artist with many published works of art. Her education includes Peabody High School in PA, Wilson College in PA, Carnegie Technical College in PA and she received her MFA from the University of Iowa. She loved to travel and visited many countries . She love to read and she enjoyed gardening and music. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mrs. Taylor may be made to Friends of the Arts, P. O. Box 386, Plymouth, New Hampshire, 03264-0386. Professor Emeritus Art History, Plymouth State College and Head Chair Person of Art Dept. as well as an accomplished painter.
