Mary C. Mckay-Kane

McKay-Kane, Mary C. (Clauss) of Whitman, formerly of South Weymouth, passed away unexpectedly, February 23, 2016. 

Daughter of the late Frederick P. and Marie (Fennell) Clauss.  Beloved wife of the late John D. Kane and former wife of John “Mickey” McKay of FL.  Loving mother of Christopher McKay and his wife Ann of Norwell and Melissa Fagan and her husband Steven of East Bridgewater.  Cherished “Grammy” of Patrick Sullivan, Jack, Conor, Maddie and Summer McKay and Sean and Amanda Fagan. Dear sister of the late Jane Regan. Step mother of Christine Morganelli and her husband Michael of Mansfield and their daughters, Marissa and Annie. 

For over 30 years, Mary worked for the Bradlees Company Headquarters as a Corporate Office Assistant and for the past 15 years she worked as an Assistant Librarian in the Medial Library in the South Shore Hospital.  She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and was an avid reader.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:00 AM Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 9AM. Cremation will follow.
