Douglas, Mary C. (Moroney) of Braintree, formerly of Quincy and County Clare Ireland, April 27, 2009. Beloved wife of the late William A. Douglas. Devoted mother of Gerard P. of Duxbury, Arthur J. and Michael R., both of VA. Loving grandmother of Amaya and Austin Douglas. Sister of Gretta Doyle, Martin Moroney; both of Ireland, Thomas Moroney of England, Roger Moroney, Philomena McNieve and the late John Moroney and Ann Donaghue, all of Ireland. Caring aunt of Patricia Moroney-Ghanem and Maureen Moroney, both of Quincy. Mary’s life centered around her loving family. She was a faithful and devout Catholic and enjoyed helping others. Mrs. Douglas was an active parishioner in both Sacred Heart Church of Weymouth Landing and Sacred Heart Church of N. Quincy. Mary enjoyed walking, baking, sewing and gardening. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Friday at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth Landing at 9:30 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
