Mary Brennan-Garrity

Garrity, Mary Brennan- of Stoughton, formerly of Dorchester, died January 25, 2013.

Beloved wife of the late William G. Garrity.  Loving mother of Jennifer Garrity and Elisha E. Garrity.  Sister of Charles J. Brennan and his wife, Madeline of of Randolph, Kevin A. Brennan of Quincy, and the late Eleanor Sullivan and Leo Brennan. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.

Born in Boston, she was raised in Dorchester and was a graduate of Saint Kevin’s Grammer School in Dorchester and a 1960 graduate of Saint Patrick’s High School in Roxbury. Mary had worked for many years at Gillette Company. Mary was very active at Saint Kevin’s Church and enjoyed playing the organ and the piano at the church. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and sewing. She will be sorely missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.  Memorial donations may be made to Children’s Hospital, 300 Longwood Avenue, Boston, MA 02115.
