Mary “Betty” Orfanakos

Orfanakos, Mary F. (Curran) “Betty” of Weymouth, passed away May 3, 2012. Beloved mother of Cindy Hall of Quincy and Michele O’Sullivan and her husband Michael of Weymouth. Loving Nana of Amber Tully of Quincy, Jordan, Cameron and Riley O’Sullivan all of Weymouth and the late Thomas and Michele Tully. Great-grandmother of Daniel and Austin. Sister of Josephine Gallahue of Quincy, Anna Mullen of NH, Helen Vitale of OH, Loretta Karsay of Brockton and the late Jessie Getchell, Gurtrude Holiday, William, Edward, Jack, Margaret and Frank Curran. Betty was Born in Canada and lived most of her life in South Boston before moving to Weymouth where she lived for the past 21 years. She worked as a waitress at Grumpy Whites Restaurant in Quincy for 8 years before retiring in 2011. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and baking for her grandchildren. Above all things Betty loved her grandchildren who were the center of her life. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 3-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Sunday at 7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Cremation will follow.
