Arthmann, Mary (Dresselaers) of West Roxbury, September 20, 2004. Beloved wife of Clarence A. Arthmann (Ret. BPD) of West Roxbury. Loving mother of Philip T. (Ret. BPD) and his wife Judith of West Roxbury, Douglas B. and his wife Kathleen of Walpole, Linda Slamin of Norfolk, Karen Fraher and her husband Michael of Brewster and Kathleen Pitchel and her husband Steven of OH. Cherished grandmother of Gregory Arthmann and his wife Fernanda, Christopher Arthmann and his wife Tammy, Jessica Slamin, Audra Slamin, Suzanne Arthmann, R.J. Slamin & Kristen Farley, Kara Fraher, Michael P. Fraher, Ryan Fraher, Adam Pitchel, Emily Pitchel. Great grandmother to Madison Slamin.Mary and her husband Clarence have been married for 65 years. Mrs. Arthmann loved to play Bingo. She also enjoyed the company of animals. She was a member of the Parkway Bowling League and the West Roxbury Leisure Club. Mary loved to follow the Boston Red Sox and was born in the year of the last world series championship win. She also worked as “Rosie the Riveter” during WWII in the Boston Shipyard.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Kfoury Keohane Funeral Home, 8 Spring St. (corner of Centre St.), WEST ROXBURY Thursday at 11 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Theresa’s Church, West Roxbury (handicapped accessible) at 12 Noon. Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Burial in Saint Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
