Mary Arsenault

Mary F. Arsenault (Falcon) resident of Linden Ponds Hingham formerly of West Yarmouth, and Methuen, MA, entered into eternal life peacefully with her beloved husband and family by her side on Feb. 16, 2024 at Rose Court, Linden Ponds in Hingham.

She was 91 years of age. Mary was born in Methuen, MA on August 21, 1932, daughter of the late James Falcon and Mary (Silva) Falcon. She grew up in Methuen with three older brothers and graduated from Searles High School in 1950. She attended McIntosh Business School and Merrimack College. In 2002 She graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities and Social Science.

She married her husband, Roy J. Arsenault in 1955. They remained married for 68 years. She worked as a Social Worker for 37 years for the Massachusetts Department of Public Welfare in Lawrence. She enjoyed her days spent in Vero Beach Florida, swimming in Horse Pond at Halcyon in West Yarmouth and time with friends and family at Linden Ponds in Hingham.

Devoted mother of James Arsenault and his wife Rani of Braintree, Mary Lou O’Leary and her husband Michael of Norwell, and Roy Arsenault of Acton. Cherished grandmother of Jaice, Jaya, Patrick, Jon, Kellie, Nicole, John, and Christopher. Great grandmother of Benson and Belle O’Leary. Beloved Aunt Mae of  her dear nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited for a viewing and to greet the family Friday, February 23 at 9:30 -10:30am at the Keohane Funeral Home 40 Sea St North Weymouth, prior to the 11am funeral mass at St. Albert the Great Church 1140 Washington St Weymouth. Burial will be private.
