Mary Ann Marino

Mary Ann Marino 58, of Hull, MA, formerly of Poughkeepsie NY, died peacefully at her home on January 28th surrounded by loved ones.

Mary Ann is survived by her family: Jessie Caven, John Caven, and Margaret Caven of Rochester, NY, her cousins Peter & Paul Hubbard of CA; and her enormous circle of friends (from) around the world.

She is a graduate of Our Lady of Lords High School in Poughkeepsie, NY and Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Mary Ann worked at State Street Corporation for over 20 years in various positions, most recently as Senior VP in the real estate group. After that she was employed by CB Richard Ellis New England as an Executive VP and Partner. In the last several years, Mary Ann was actively involved in several charities including the Alzheimer’s Association, Green Mango of India, and the Hyderabad Children’s Aid Society also of India. The Hyderabad Children’s Aid Society was especially close to Mary Ann’s heart. Mary Ann moved to India to work closely with this charity and created strong and lasting relationships with many of the children living there. A very loving and accepting individual, her proudest accomplishment was living in India and working at the Hyderabad Children’s Aid Society with orphaned children for the last few years of her life. Although taken too soon, Mary Ann lived an extraordinary life. Traveling the world many times over and creating lasting friendships spanning the globe, people were her most prized “possession.” She will be greatly missed but fondly remembered.

Friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday Feb. 6th from 4 – 8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., (Off Central St.) Hingham, MA.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations payable to: Hyderabad Children’s Aid Society by contacting CB Richard Ellis at 617-912-7000 or via email at [email protected].
