Mary Ann Joyce

Mary Ann (Trovato) Joyce of Braintree, died suddenly January 11, 2014 at the age of 74.

Mary Ann graduated from Forsythe Dental School in 1959 and worked as a dental hygienist for several dentists on the the South Shore during her 50 year career. She volunteered at Sacred Heart Church in Weymouth and was an active member of AFG of Mass. She will be remembered for her selfless nature and loving spirit. Her life was devoted to helping others, her faith and her family.

Beloved wife of Charles M. Joyce of Braintree. Loving mother of Christopher J. Joyce and wife Keli of Atlantic Beach, FL, Mark D. Joyce and wife Tina of Leominster, Daniel P. Joyce and wife Kimberly of Duxbury. Cherished “Nana” of Devon, Kelsey, Brendan, Marin, and Clara. Sister of Leo Trovato and wife Claire of Marshfield and Gerald Trovato and wife Judy of Norwood. Sister in law of Rosemary Hymes and Ruth Joyce. Cousin of Salvatore Trovato, Joseph Trovato and the late Tom and John Trovato. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) . Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM.
