Mary Ann (Norton) Dilks of Quincy, died on May 16, 2022 surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. The beloved wife of 49 years to Harold Dilks of Quincy. Loving mother of Rebecca Dilks of Quincy and her companion Joseph Sabella of Everett and the late Justin and Robert Dilks. Cherished grandmother of Kalie Dilks of Quincy. Sister of Peter Norton of Weymouth, Nicholas Norton of Delray Beach. FL and the late Thomas and Kevin Norton and Kathleen Norton Minahan. Mary Ann is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A proud graduate of Braintree High School Class of 1972, Mary Ann worked as a preschool teacher in Quincy for many years. She enjoyed camping with her family and spending summers at Keoka Beach Camp Ground in Maine. She also worked at the camp ground as an activities director until her health no longer allowed her to work. Mary Ann had a bilateral lung transplant and battled two forms of cancer as well. She was a fabulous cook, an avid reader and enjoyed drawing. She loved the ocean and enjoyed walking with her granddaughter and dog. Mary Ann had a heart of gold and was a true gem to all those who knew her. She will be sadly missed.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday May 22nd between 2-6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.
Cremation will follow.
