Mary A. Mcdonagh

McDonagh, Mary A. (Wallace) of Quincy, died January 26, 2015. 

The beloved wife of the late Dudley P. McDonagh. Loving mother of Paul McDonagh of GA, Michael McDonagh of Quincy, Maureen McDonagh of Dorchester, Ann McDonagh-Devane of Quincy and Kathleen Kenneally of Tewksbury. Sister of Peter Wallace, Jr. of Dedham, Kathleen Lannon of Millis, John Mulkerrin of Woburn and Mary Cormier of NH. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren. 

Mary volunteered with the South Shore Elders for many years. She also dedicated her time to the meals on wheels program. Mary was very active at the Hough’s Neck Senior Center for many years. She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and crocheting. Proud of her Irish heritage, Mary was well known for her famous Irish Bread.  A devout Catholic, she will be remembered as a devoted mother who had a great sense of humor.  She was admired for her strong will, her intelligence and her quick wit.  Her family and her faith were the cornerstones of all that was truly important to her. Mary will be sadly missed by all those who were blessed to have known her. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 1 pm – 5 pm in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Sq.)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home on Monday at 9am prior to the Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Parish in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1000 Sea Street, Quincy Monday at 10am.  Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
