Marie A. (Gilbody) Williams

Williams, Marie A. (Gilbody) of Weymouth, 97, died on Saturday March 22, 2014 at the Queen Anne Nursing Home.

Marie was a graduate of Quincy High School, Class of 1935.

Daughter of the late Frank and Esther (Cuddihy) Gilbody. Beloved wife of the late Ernest T. Williams. Loving mother of Ernest T. Williams and his wife, Sally, of Duxbury, Joyce Williams of Norwell, Ann DiGiano and her husband, Francis, of North Carolina, William Williams and his wife, Cindy, of Scituate, and Peter Williams and his wife, Mary, of Braintree. Sister of Edward Gilbody and his wife, Elizabeth, of Weymouth, Esther Cox of Maryland, Lucille Smith of Rockland, RoseAnn LaVacca and her husband, Ralph, of Florida and the late, Robert Gilbody, John Gilbody, William Gilbody, Frances Haavisto, Margaret Rinella, Joan Fitzgerald, and Ruth Larkin. Also survived by 10 grandchildren,19 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
