Argiro, Mary A. (Bruzzese) of Hingham, died October 29, 2018.
Mary loved being with her family and her cat KC. She also loved gardening and tending to her yard, maintaining a sizable vegetable garden for many years, mushrooming (locations kept secret), shopping, and sewing. She was a long-standing member of the Sons of Italy and worked in the garment industry for many years. Mary was funny, loving, and always helping others. Her family would like to thank the staff for the wonderful care she received at South Shore Hospital ER and Critical Care Unit during her time there. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Daughter of the late Peter and Maria (Gentile) Bruzzese. Beloved wife of the late Samuel Argiro. Loving mother of Rosemarie Argiro of Hingham and Deborah Argiro Turner and her husband Bradley of Weymouth. Cherished sister of the late Angela, Rosa, and Vincent Bruzzese. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary may be made to St. Paul’s Church, 147 North Street, Hingham, MA 02043 or a charity of your choice.
