Martin L. Steeves, age 44 of Norwalk, Connecticut husband to Tiffany (Gordon) Steeves, died suddenly on Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013 at his home.

Born in Quincy, Massachusetts the son of Florence (Martel) Steeves of Quincy and the late Eugene Steeves.  Known as “Marty” and “Moose” to his friends, he was an avid Boston Red Sox and Patriots fan.  A giving and generous man, Marty was a loving husband and great friend, who loved his dogs Rascal and JD, enjoyed tailgating with his friends, exploring new places, a good meal and a cold beer.  Marty was the life of the party with an infectious smile and laugh.

Marty graduated from Babson College in 1991 with highest distinction.  He moved to the Norwalk area the same year where he met many of his wonderful lifelong friends and he began his career in finance. His intelligence, passion for sports and quick wit will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to Tiffany, his wife of three years, and his mother Florence, he is survived by two sisters, Carol Steeves of Weymouth, Nancy McDonald, her husband Tim and their three daughters Eliza, Maeve and Fiona, all of Quincy.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral services will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:30 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Cremation will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: The National MS Society, CT Chapter, 659 Tower Ave. First Fl, Hartford, CT 06112, or to the Open Door Shelter, Norwalk (Opendoorshelter.org).
