Martin J. “Marty” Coughlin, Jr.

Coughlin, Martin J., Jr. “Marty” of Weymouth died December 14, 2008. Beloved husband of Joanne (Keegan) Coughlin of Weymouth. Devoted father of Christine DeLuca of Weymouth, Michael J. Coughlin of Weymouth, Mary Barker of S. Weymouth, Mark Coughlin of Weymouth, Jennifer Scales of Walpole, and Martin J. Coughlin, III of Scituate. Loving brother of Francis Coughlin of Milton, and Sheila Heaney of Hingham. Dear brother- in-law of Fr. John Keegan, SJ of Milford. Cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Molly, Edward, Benjamin, Christopher, Rory, Michael, Matthew, Cameron, Sydney, Elyse, Brendan. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Marty was a computer analyst and resided in Weymouth for over 40 years. He enjoyed spending time at his Cape house with his family. He loved gardening, fishing, and traveling. He enjoyed going to the beach, playing golf and watching the Red Sox and Bruins. Most of all, Marty loved being with his family especially his grandchildren. Marty was a volunteer at the Food Pantry in Weymouth and the Hingham Public Library. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., Hingham, Thursday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 3 – 7 PM. Burial in Saint Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham. Donations in memory of Martin J.
