Martin J. Crowley

CROWLEY, Martin J. 96 of Quincy, formerly of Milton and Hyde Park, Sunday May 27, 2018.

Born in Barna, Co. Galway, Ireland he was a son of the late Michael Crowley and Margaret (Walsh).  Beloved husband of 61 years of Eileen (Lee).  Devoted father of Donald and his wife Maura of Wrentham, Martin and his wife Cheryl of East Bridgewater, Michael and his wife Kathleen of Norwood, Neil and his wife Diane of West Roxbury, and the late John F. Crowley. Loving Grampy of Timothy, Catherine, Melissa, Brendan, Erin, Ryan, Katherine, and Lillian. Brother of Nora Connolly and Julia Flaherty, both of Westwood, and Thomas Crowley of Ireland.  Martin had nine additional siblings who predeceased him.  He was uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Crowley was educated in Ireland, and was a longtime member of Laborers International Union Local 223 in Boston.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday June 4th from 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. Family and friends will gather in the funeral home beginning at 9:30 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in New Calvary Cemetery, Mattapan.
