Connor, Martin of Quincy, died September 26, 2024. 

Martin was born in Treanmanagh, Glenbeigh, Co. Kerry, Ireland and moved to the US in 1952. He was a proud member of the United States Air Force and served during the Korean War. He was a hard worker for 40 years at Sears and Roebuck and at the Irish Rover, where he made many friends and met his lovely wife. Martin enjoyed traveling back to Ireland with his wife to visit relatives and friends. Martin loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a caring and devoted man who could talk to anyone. He will be greatly missed. 

Devoted husband of Nora (Meg) Connor of Quincy. Cherished father of Tim Connor and his wife Anne of WI and the late John Martin Connor. Adoring Grandpa to Calvin Connor and his wife Kayla, Zoe Connor, and Katie Connor. Loving brother of the late Paddy Joe O’Connor, Dennis O’Connor, Michael O’Connor, Timothy O’Connor and Noreen Lally, all of Co. Kerry. Close friend and cousin of Eileen Murphy of Cromane, Co. Kerry, Ireland and Joan Walsh of Norwood, MA. Loving Uncle of Caroline O’Connor of Galway, Ireland and Jackie O’Neil of London, England. Also survived by 6 grand nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday, October 3rd from 8:30-10 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY followed by the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Martin may be made to The Irish Pastoral Centre of the Archdiocese of Boston, 540 Gallivan Blvd. (Rear), Dorchester, MA 02124.
