Martha J. Coughlin

Martha J. (Salemme) Coughlin, age 78, of Weymouth, died April 9, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late John and Henrietta (Pagnano) Salemme. Loving wife of the late John Mitchell.

Martha was a lifelong resident of Weymouth and a retired employee of National Grid and Olden’s Pharmacy. Martha enjoyed painting, bowling, golf, sitting on the beach, and going to the gym with her many longtime friends. 

Mother of Jean Page and her husband Jack of Bridgewater and John (Jack) Mitchell and his wife Lynn of Abington. Cherished grandmother of Jack, Christina, and Brendan Page; Jack, Craig, and Mary Mitchell. Also survived by her former husband Philip Coughlin; his daughters, Lynne and Lisa; son Philip, his wife Donna, and their two children Melanie and Patrick. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, April 16, from 4-8 PM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home in South Weymouth at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) Relatives and friends will gather at the funeral home on Friday, April 17, at 9 AM prior to the Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, East Weymouth, at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Old North Cemetery, Weymouth.
