Mark Keenan of Center Ossippee, NH died April 8, 2022 at the age of 65 surrounded by family and friends. Mark was born July 1956 in Quincy, Massachusetts and graduated from Weymouth South High School. Son of Mary (Marie) T. Rosebach of Hanover and the late Robert T. Keenan. Devoted stepson to the late Elaine C. Keenan and Thomas J. Rosebach.
Mark worked 36 years for the Defense Contract Management Agency and received the DCMA Civilian Career Service Award for his outstanding service, the highest honor in the organization. *Mark graduated Wentworth Institute of Technology in 1988 with a degree in Computer Science.
Prior to his employment at DCMA, Mark was active duty Air Force stationed at Elmendorf A.F.B. in Anchorage, Alaska for four years. Mark loved to spend time with his family, hike, travel, cross-country ski, hunt, snowshoe, golf, kayak, and camp. *Husband of 43 years to the love of his life, Donna M. (Shaw) Keenan. Loving father of Bethany A. Ippolito and her husband Al of North Branford, CT. Brother of Robert Keenan and his wife Barbara, John Keenan and his wife Paula, Thomas Keenan and his wife Diane, Jeff Keenan, Estelle Vento and her husband Jimmy, Margie Nelson and her husband Tom, and the late Karen Rosher and her husband Larry Rosher. Adoring grandpa of Alphonse E. Ippolito. Beloved brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours of Monday, April 18th, from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home – South (809 Main St South Weymouth, MA).
All are asked to gather in the funeral home at 9:15 A.M. on Tuesday, April 19th, prior to the Funeral Mass at St. Albert the Great Church, 1140 Washington St. at 10:00 A.M. (Rte. 53) Weymouth. A burial service will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 12:30 P.M.
