Mark F. Mavilia

Mark F. Mavilia, a lifelong resident of Braintree, died unexpectedly on June 25, 2017, due to complications of surgery. He was 39.

Mark worked in the IT Department at the Joseph Moakley Courthouse in Boston. He had a passion for fishing and enjoyed attending reggae music concerts. Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with the love of his life, Tara Dowling, and their daughter Jordan Mavilia.

Loving son of Diane C. (Pizzi) and Robert A. Mavilia of Braintree.  Loving brother of Rob A. Mavilia, Jr. and his wife Chrissy, and their children Robbie and Ava of East Bridgewater. Also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mark may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
