Mark A. Hull

Hull, Mark A. of West Warwick, formerly of Quincy, MA.  died May 13, 2022 at the Hope Health Hospice Home surrounded by his family, he was 56. The beloved son of Maureen (Connery) Hull of Tewskbury and the late Richard Hull. Loving husband of Alexis (Bylsma) Hull and their son Tyler Hull of West Warwick,RI. Father of Jacquilyn Kettenring and her husband Stuart of Mansfield, Michelle Connolly and her husband Christopher of Plymouth and Richard Hull and his fiancee Rose Servetnick of Meriden,CT and their mother Joanne Hull of Braintree. Brother of  Ellen Hull  and her companion Robert Coughlin of West Roxbury and Gregg Hull of Derry, NH and his wife Trisha Hull. Cherished grandfather of Gavin, Malcolm and Violet Kettenring and Nora Connolly. Mark is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mark was a devoted father, family man and friend.  Throughout his life he had many interests including sports and music.  As a child he spent time at Meadowbrook Golf Club, involved in swimming, tennis and starting his life long love of golf.  In high school he was an accomplished track and field athlete (the high jump and the 4×100 relay team) going to the state finals.

He shared his love of sports and music with his family, encouraging his children to join team sports if they were interested but also encouraging other interests as well.  He coached softball, basketball and soccer and had a talent for seeing what it took to help kids grow and achieve.  His music tastes ran to 80s retro, including The J. Geils Band, The Stompers and AC/DC.  He enjoyed doing karaoke with whoever would step up to the mike, and joined his kids in their love for video games, bowling and the driving range.

A hard worker his whole life, he was involved in iron working (working for a time with his father as well as owning several companies) and later as a glazier. He enjoyed vacationing at Old Orchard Beach and on the gulf coast of Florida.  Spending time with his grandchildren (and many pets!) was one of his great joys as he was a great big kid at heart.  He will be missed by all.
