Marjorie Louise Foley

Foley, Marjorie Louise (Simpson) of Quincy, January 17, 2004. The beloved wife of Martin J.Foley. Loving Mother of Michael Foley of Cumberland Foreside, ME, Susan Foley Moberg and Brian Foley both of Pembroke, Nancy Foley Wilder of Groton and Mark Foley of Quincy and the late Mary Bernadette Foley. Sister of Jean A. Doyle of Quincy, Harold A. Simpson of Haines City, FL & Revere, MA and James M. Simpson of Randolph. Marjorie is also survived by 8 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Marjorie worked for New England Mutual Life Insurance in Boston for 10 years. Later on in life after Marjorie raised her family, she returned to school , attending Quincy VoTech Nursing School , where she earned her nursing degree in 1975. She began working at Marion Manor Nuring Home in South Boston until she retired back in 1986. She was a devoted wife and mother . Marjorie was very devoted to her parish community. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Wednesday at 9am . Funeral Mass at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Sea St. Quincy on Wednesday at 10am. Visiting hours Tuesday 2-4 and 7- 9 PM . Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. Donations in memory of Mrs. Foley may be made to Joslin Diabetes Center, 1 Joslin Place Boston, MA 02215.
