McArdle, Marjorie Joan (Devine) of Quincy, , November 30, 2010. Beloved wife of 70 years of Francis J. McArdle of Quincy. Loving mother of Joan Cleary and her husband Martin J. of Marshfield, Marjorie (Haddigan) Rester and her husband Ed of Marshfield, Elaine McArdle of Quincy and Bob Bernardinelli, Mary (DiGeregorio) McCabe and her husband Bill of Marshfield, Connie Tarsa of Rockland, Jeanette Lynch of W. Harwich and Frannie Calvani of Norwell. Sister of Barbara Herlihy of Florida, Eleanor Swain of Falmouth, Dorothy Ware of Milton and the late Constance Corey, Joseph and David Devine. Marjorie is also lovingly survived by 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Marjorie was born in Dorchester. She lived in Dorchester for many years before moving to Quincy where she settled with her husband Frank and raised her family. Marjorie was a devoted Catholic and was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Boniface for many years. Marjorie worked for the Quincy Public Schools as a Secretary for 10 years before retiring in 1980. She was an avid golfer and a member of the Braintree Golf Club. Marjorie enjoyed swimming, gardening and dancing of all kinds. Most of all Marjorie loved spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Friday, December 03, 2010 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Saturday, December 04, 2010 prior to the Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish, Our Lady of Good Counsel Church at 10:00 AM.
