Marion P. Cunniff

Cunniff, Marion Patricia (Downey) of Weymouth, passed away July 7, 2023. Marion was born in South Boston and attended St. Augustine’s High School. She retired as a Weymouth crossing guard with many years spent at Wessagussett School and the Heights.

Beloved wife of 63 years to James R. Cunniff of Weymouth. Loving mother of Christine Barrett and her husband Patrick of Weymouth, Carolyn Mullaney and her husband James of Quincy and Joanne Murphy and her husband William of Duxbury. Cherished Grammy of 8 grandchildren; Joseph and his wife Christine, Nicholas, Gretchen, James and his wife Alison, Danielle, Briana, Michael, Olivia and 1 great grandchild Quinn. Also survived by her brother-in-law Richard Cunniff and many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday 10-11:30 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). A Funeral Mass will follow in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 12 PM. Burial in Old North Cemetery, Weymouth.
