Marion M. Howard

Howard, Marion (Anderson) of Quincy, passed away May 3, 2011. Beloved wife of 40 years to the late Frederick Howard. Devoted mother of Frederick Howard, Jr. and Helen of Lakeville, Thomas Howard and Rose of RI, Richard Howard of Boston, Scott Howard and Cathy Picard of Braintree, Ruth Hirtle and Peter of Quincy, Rose Maloney and Robert of Easton, Lisa Sullivan and John of Quincy, Tina Schuboth and Michael Berry of Quincy and the late Anne Maher and Gerald Howard. Cherished Nana of 23 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Loving sister of Robert Anderson of VA and the late Doris Latham, Russell Anderson, Sylvia Barrett, Richard Anderson, Virginia Wilcox and George Anderson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Marion grew up in Weymouth and has lived in Quincy for the last 60 years. She enjoyed reading and playing cards. Mrs. Howard was an avid New England sports fan and especially enjoyed watching the Red Sox. Her main passion was being with her large loving family. She will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:45 AM Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. John’s Church, Quincy at 11:30 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
