Marion J. Ellis

Marion J. Ellis (Burns) of Weymouth formerly of North Quincy, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday February 12, 2013 at the South Shore Hospital in South Weymouth. 

Loving mother of Joanne Newman of Brockton and Robert L. Ellis, Jr married to Diane of So. Weymouth. Proud grandmother of Samantha Leigh Ellis of So. Weymouth and close friend to Helen Sabbag of Hull. Former wife of Robert L. Ellis, Sr. of Weymouth. Sister of Shirley Hennessey of Hull, the late Priscilla Amorelli of Quincy, the late Barbara Gray of Fonda, NY and the late Sue Jasinski of Schenectady, NY. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

 Born, raised and educated in Quincy, Marion had lived in Weymouth since 1986. She worked as a private childcare provider over the years and in earlier years worked as a waitress but she most especially loved doting on her family.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the EAST WEYMOUTH McDonald Funeral Home, corner Middle and Charles Sts (at 3 Charles St) Sunday afternoon 2:00-5:00pm. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Monday morning at 10:30 to be followed by a Funeral Mass in the St. Francis Xavier Church, South Weymouth at 11:30, Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery, South Weymouth.
