McDuff, Marion E. (Gould) “Edna” of Hull, passed away January 27, 2013.

Beloved wife of the late Francis T. McDuff. Loving mother of Thomas J. McDuff and his wife Deborah of Hull, Jane F. Hutcheson and her husband James of Hull, Nancy J. Nason and her husband Daniel of ME, and the late James M. McDuff. Sister of Madeline Barrett of FL, Jeannie Chaupette of Plymouth, Chester Gould of CA, and the late Barbara Hayes and Gertrude Hirsch. Grandmother of Renae MacKenzie, Jeff Hutcheson, and the late Thomas McDuff. Also survived by 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Edna was a true Hullonian, having been born and spending her entire life in her beloved town. Her family was the focal point of her life and she enjoyed the time spent with them. She also was somewhat of a “spark” and enjoyed listening to the fire and police radio frequency for both Boston and Hull. For several years Edna worked as a waitress for Chef Paul Catering in Hull and the Mug’n Muffin Restaurant in Hingham. Her family remembers her as a loving, nurturing and beautiful person.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-7 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM.A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM.  Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull.  In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Marion may be made to Hull Permanent Firefighters Association, 671 Nantasket Avenue, Hull, MA 02045.
