Marion Crowley

Marion Crowley (Ford) of Weymouth formerly of the Savin Hill section of Dorchester, passed away unexpectedly on Monday March 25, 2013. She was 86 years of age. 

 Beloved wife of 65 years to John M. Crowley. Devoted mother of Gail M. Cerva of Sandown, NH and Jo-Ann Manijak married to Peter of Medway. Loving sister Paul Ford married to Jacqueline of Marco Island, FL and the late William “Sonny” Ford. Proud grandmother of Laura A. Abrams and Carolyn J. Cerva. Great-grandmother of Calvin H. Abrams.

Marion was raised and educated in Savin Hill and had lived in Weymouth since 1965. She was a retired bookkeeper at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Dept. of Environmental Management. Marion enjoyed traveling and trips to Foxwoods and Niagra Falls but most especially she enjoyed time with her family. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the McDonald Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH, at 809 Main St. (Rte 18 opp. South Shore Hospital) Thursday evening 4:00-8:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Friday morning at 11:00 am.  Burial will take place on Monday, April 1st at 12:00pm  in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.  Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Assoc. at www.americanheart.org.
