Marion Colombi

Marion Colombi (White), 91, of Braintree, formerly of Weymouth, passed peacefully on March 21 with her daughters by her side. Beloved wife of the late Edward F. (Ted) Colombi of Weymouth. Loving mother of Janice Colombi and husband Jay Reeg and daughter Maddie of Newton; Kim Colombi and husband Gary Leopold of Boston; Susan Colombi and husband Brian Keefe and their children, Harry and Avery of Greensboro, NC; and Amy Colombi of Cambridge. Beloved sister of David White of Walnut Creek, CA and the late H. Arnold White. She is also survived  by many devoted cousins, nieces and nephews.

Marion was foremost a wife, mother, grandmother and friend. A homemaker for most of her life, she was a member of the United Methodist Women for many decades. Marion attended Burdett College, followed by a position with Fore River Shipyard during WWII for the war effort, and later, Stetson Shoe in Weymouth. She was much loved by family, friends, and neighbors for her kindness, beautiful smile and generosity of spirit. 

Family and friends are invited on Thursday, March 24th from 4 -8 p.m. to McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 899 Main Street (Rte. 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Memorial service will be held on Friday, March 25th at 11 a.m. in the Chapel at Old South Union Church, 25 Columbian St., South Weymouth 02190.
