Malloy, Marion B. (Towhill) of Hingham, died December 27, 2014.
Beloved wife of the late George E. Malloy. Loving mother of George W. Malloy and his wife Kate of Orleans, Barbara A. Costa and her husband Frank of Plymouth, Kevin E. Malloy and his wife Janice of Weymouth, Jane Cahill and her husband Patrick of Duxbury and Kathleen Malloy of Duxbury. Sister of the late Gertrude Murphy, Jean Mulloy and Anna Smith. Cherished grandmother of Cheryl, Christine, David, Kevin Jr., Jaclyn, Paul, Brian, Matthew, Alexandra, Julia and the late Timothy Malloy. Marion is also lovingly survived by 6 great grandchildren.
Marion was born in Boston and grew up in West Roxbury. She was a former member of St. Paul’s Woman’s Sodality, Bradley Park Association and life member of the Wessagussett Yacht Club. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing and traveling. Most of all Marion loved spending time with her family who were truly the cornerstone of her life. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known and loved her.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 3-7PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
