Alcott, Marilyn L. (Gilfeather) of Squantum, September 14, 2004. Wife of the late George R. Alcott. Mother of George R. Alcott, III and his wife Kathleen of Braintree and Michael W. Alcott and his wife Mary of Scituate. Grandmother of Daniel Patrick, Kerri Anne, Richard M., Courtney Elizabeth, Harrison and Emma Alcott. Marilyn was a longtime communicant of Star of the sea Church in Squantum. She belonged to the Quincy Emblem Club which is part of the Elks Lodge 943. She was a Past President and Secretary of the Massachusetts Emblem Club. Mrs. Alcott graduated from North Quincy High School in 1944.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Friday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Squantum at 9 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 11 AM.
