Marilyn Keith

Marilyn Keith (Long) of Weymouth, formerly of Mission Hill, died April 4, 2015 at the age of 78.

Marilyn worked as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for 20 years at the Carney Hospital. She graduated from St. Elizabeth’s Nursing School and was a member of the first graduating class of Nurse Practitioners at Northeastern. She continued her education, earning advanced degrees from Emmanuel and Simmons College. Marilyn enjoyed cruising and traveling. She was an extremely kind and loyal friend.

Beloved wife of Peter Keith. Loving mother of Monica MacKenzie and husband Bob of Hingham, Peter Keith and wife Amy of Westwood, and Karen Himber and husband Steve of Moorpark, CA. Devoted “Nana” to Keith, Kyle, Emily, Katherine, Thomas, Amber and Brandon.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 am on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury. Donations in memory of Marilyn may be made to Norwell VNA and Hospice, 120 Longwater Dr., Norwell, MA 02061.
