Marilyn G. Miller

Marilyn Grace Miller of Braintree, died October 24, 2013

Marilyn was born August 23, 1929.  She passed peacefully at Bay Path at Duxbury surrounded by family.  She was born in Boston and grew up in Dorchester and Wollaston.  She went to secretarial school at Katherine Gibbs.  She worked for the Birds Eye Corporation for several years.  Marilyn enjoyed time with her children and grandchildren.  She was kind, generous, and had a great sense of humor. 

Marilyn was a devoted wife to her husband Harold C Miller for 57 years.  Loving mother of Mark Miller and his wife Sunny of Tulsa Ok, Meredith Miller and her partner Steve Jones of Randolph, MA , and Barry Miller and his wife Chris of Duxbury, MA.   Caring sister of Gloria Artobello and Herb McMeekin both of Braintree.  Sister in law of Edmund Burke of S Weymouth,  Armie McMeekin of Braintree, and Paul and Amy Miller of Winthrop.  Proud Nana of Rebecca and Ryan Miller of Duxbury.  She was predeceased by her sister Edna Burke. There were also many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday at 10 am -12pm  in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St (Rte 18 opp So. Shore Hospital.)  Burial to follow at the Blue Hills Cemetery in Braintree

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Marilyn’s name to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001.  or the Salvation Army
