Driebeek, Marilyn D. (Williams) of Hingham, formerly of Concord died June 26, 2015.

Beloved wife of the late Norman J. Driebeek. Loving mother of Mary Jeanne Driebeek and her husband Charles Hunter of North Carolina, Joan Spasyk and her husband Michael of Vermont and the late Joseph Driebeek and his late wife Janice Hurley.  Sister of Philip Williams of Illinois.  Cherished grandmother of Alison and Pete Spasyk, Jenna Hartley, Sam Hunter and Michael Driebeek. Dear friend of John McDuff of Hingham. 

Marilyn was born and raised in Illinois.  She traveled to Aruba as a young woman and met her husband Norman. They married and lived on the Island for ten years.  She continued to travel extensively over the years to many beautiful countries.  She enjoyed sewing, knitting and sailing the beautiful waters of Aruba. She raised her family in Concord, MA. She also enjoyed many years of family ski weekends in Jackson, NH. Marilyn worked at Johnny Appleseeds in Concord for twenty years before retiring.  Most of all Marilyn loved her family who were the corner stone of her life.  She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known and loved her. She was a model of strength, determination, and spirit. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 10 AM. Burial will be Thursday at 2PM in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Concord, MA. 

Donations in memory of Marilyn may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 29 Crafts Street, Suite 45, Newton, MA  02458.
