Marilyn C. (Pallis) Sinkiewicz

Marilyn C. (Pallis) Sinkiewicz of Weymouth and Mashpee, MA passed away peacefully at the age of 97 on December 31, 2023. She was born in Cambridge, MA on December 22,1926, a devoted daughter of the late John and Olive Pallis.

She was predeceased by her husband, Mr. Edward J. Sinkiewicz, to whom she was married for 51 years.

Marilyn graduated from Weymouth High School, followed by the Bryant and Stratton Business College in Boston, MA.  Upon graduating, she worked for The Westinghouse Corporation in Boston and later she was employed as an administrator for the Town of Weymouth.

Mom loved spending summers with her family on Cape Cod. She was an avid reader, enjoyed listening to talk radio, walking at Webb Park and volunteering at the Senior Center. 

She is survived by her 3 daughters, Mary Sinkiewicz Walker of S. Portland, ME, Gale Sinkiewicz of Naples, FL and Joan Costello of Orlando, FL, grandchildren Taylor E. Walker,Nathaniel B. Walker, Jack E. McElrath and great grandchild,Woodrow E. Walker.

Marilyn is also survived by her sister in law, Lillian Scommegna, her best friend, Evelyn Roussell and daughter Susan.

A private funeral service and burial will be held at a later date at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
