Hooper, Marilyn A. (Foster) of Hingham, July 8, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Hershel Hooper. Loving mother of Brian, Pamela; both of Weymouth, Cheryl of Attleboro and the late Douglas Hooper. Sister of James Foster and his wife Karen of Randolph, George Egan and his wife Deborah of Plymouth, Sandra Foster, Maureen Chiminiello, Kathy Picariello and the late Patricia Conway & Dorothy Foster. Loving “Mimi” to Cameron, Connor, Ryan and the late Samantha Hooper. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald Street, Hingham, Thursday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Marilyn’s life revolved around her family and friends. She participated and volunteered in the PTO and Cub Scout programs when her children were young. In later years she became involved with the Thaxter Park Community. She was the Treasurer of the Tenants Association and active in all their functions and activities. Mrs. Hooper was a regular communicant at St. Paul’s Church in Hingham and took part in the various church function. Her family describes her as outgoing and very social. She also enjoyed reading and crochet. Donations in memory of Mrs. Hooper may be made to The Samantha L. Hooper Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Town of Hingham, Office of the Treasurer, 210 Central St., Hingham MA 02043.
