Marilyn A. Donovan

Marilyn A. (Buchan) Donovan of Weymouth, passed away July 3, 2022 at the age of 96.

She was predeceased by her husband, William, her parents, Robert and Loretto Buchan, and her siblings: sister, Loretto Mary Tate, and brothers, Rev Robert SJ, Ray, Paul, Roger, Eddie, and Richard. She will be missed by her children: Cynthia and Frank Galligan, Watertown; Marsha, Weymouth; Barbara and Stephen Gramolini, Belmont; Alicia and Michael Fergus, Lansdale, PA; Linda and Dave Horsfall, Westborough, and Steven and Nancy Donovan, Hilton Head, SC. Marilyn was the cherished Nana of Matthew Galligan, Leigh Robinson, Jill Stone, Allison and Brian Gramolini, Sarah Schwab, Carolyn Fergus-Callahan, Amy and Joanna Fergus, Benjamin and Scott Horsfall, and Sean and Ryan Donovan. She welcomed with joy her great-grandchildren: Logan and Mia Schwab, Jack and Callum Robinson, and Charlotte and Hobie Stone. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
