Marilyn A. Conroy

Conroy, Marilyn A. (Dunn) of Quincy, died on August 15, 2010. She was 77. Beloved wife of 50 years to the late Robert T. Conroy. Devoted mother of Eileen Leahy of Hyde Park, Patricia Williams and her husband Don of Hingham, Mary Conroy her and husband Bob Lewey of Abington, Robert T. Conroy and his wife Marilyn of Abington, Kathy Leahy and her husband John of Whitman, Barbara Fitzgerald and her husband Jack of Quincy and Ann Marie Grimaldi and her husband Mike of Abington. Loving sister of Richard Dunn and his wife Mary of Hubbardston and Sandra Wilcox of Quincy. Cherished nana of 20 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Special aunt of Gordon Wilcox of Boston, Maryanne Madden of Lynn and many other nieces and nephews. Marilyn worked as an administrative assistant for the DPW for many years retiring in 1996. Upon retiring she went on to work at Stop and Shop’s Corporate office for 5 years, retiring in 2001. She enjoyed gardening and shopping but her main passion was being surrounded by her family. She will be sadly missed. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Wednesday 4 – 8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Thursday, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church at 10 AM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery at 12:45 PM . In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Marilyn may be made to the American Lung Assn. of MA, 460 Totten Pond Rd., Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451.
