Marika Ivanof

Ivanof, Marika (Nikova) of Brighton, Duxbury and West Palm Beach, FL, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2011. The beloved wife of the late Traiko Ivanof. Loving mother of Damian Ivanof and his wife Litsa of Marshfield and the late Luben Ivanoff and the late Kosty Ivanof . Proud grandmother of 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Marika was born in Bulgaria and came to the United States back in 1958. She worked for many years at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston. She enjoyed folk music and folk dancing. Marika will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday, Oct. 12 from 9-11am in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:30 AM in St. Catherine’s Greek Orthodox Church, 119 Common St. Braintree, MA 02184. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Brighton.
