Marie V. Cappadona

Cappadona, Marie V. of Quincy, 90, died October 13, 2014 surrounded by her loving family.

Marie was the proud mother of 7 children and a devoted wife to her late husband. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She worked at Raytheon Corporation during WWII as part of her war efforts. She was the office manager at her family’s business, Cappy’s Towing, well into her 70’s. She later volunteered at Quincy Medical Center and was a member of the Savin Hill Yacht Club. She was an avid reader and loved to travel, especially to the Reefs in Bermuda. Marie was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Devoted wife of the late Joseph Anthony Cappadona. Beloved mother of Marie Willard and her husband Clarence of Lakeland, FL, Paul Cappadona of Norton, Edward Cappadona and his wife Dianne of Milton, Nancy Marshall and her husband John of Norton, Judith Fields and her husband Stephen of Rockland, David Cappadona and his wife Marion of Norfolk, and Joseph Cappadona (deceased) and wife Paulette of Quincy. Also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. John’s Church, Quincy at 11 AM. Private burial will be at a later date.
