Marie T. Thomas

Marie T. (McGrath) Thomas of South Weymouth, died May 14, 2017.

She was born and raised in Roxbury, attending Mission Grammar School and Roxbury Memorial High School for girls. Marie worked for and retired from the South Shore Hospital Medical Records Department and was active for years with the Weymouth Food Pantry. 

Devoted mother of James E. Thomas of FL, Patricia M. Pizzi of FL, Joseph M. Thomas of HI, William J. Thomas of FL, Michael J. Thomas of NH, Brian F. Thomas of Braintree, Marie T. Thomas of Plymouth and the late Janine M. Thomas of CT. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and her sister Phyllis R. Nolan of Roslindale. Predeceased by Martha E. Maher, John, William, Edward, Leo and Paul McGrath. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 9 AM.

Burial in Lakeview Cemetery, Weymouth.
